Mindful, Authentic & Natural

I’m here as a guide to show you Yoga & Mindfulness tools you can use to support your own health, growth, self-awareness and recognizing the importance of balance necessary in today’s busy world. Practicing yoga in a mindful way, slowing it down, and connecting breath with movement.  As we focus on our inhales & exhales we become more aware of our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. This can, in turn, help us feel more connected to our self & others and can bring us into a mentally & emotionally calmer state of being.

My yoga teaching approach is a relaxing, gentle style of yoga. Over my 22 years of yoga I draw upon my experience in different types of yoga & changes my life has gone through and from my 500 hour RYT yoga teacher training. I also teach Yoga Nidra, which is a deep relaxing guided practice and great for those wanting to let go of stress, tension, and anxiety. Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation using my voice to cue and bring awareness to the mind (brain waves), body (parts & whole) and emotions (sensations) that can come up…

I currently teach a relaxing yoga class Monday nights at the Lafayette Recreation Center (see class schedule) and I offer private yoga one-on-one.  I have taught Kid’s Yoga & Mindfulness at the Shining Mountain Waldorf School for 2 years. I’m going to be teaching the kids yoga and mindfulness at the Dawson School lower – level elementary for the after school program beginning Jan 14. I’m offering a kid’s yoga, mindfulness & nature camp this summer July 22-26, 2019 Namaste
